Special requests are subject to availability upon check-in and may incur additional charges special requests cannot be guaranteed Government-issued photo identification and a credit card, debit card, or cash deposit may be required at check-in for incidental charges Posted by a verified traveler on May 21, 2018Įxtra-person charges may apply and vary depending on property policy We loved it - place to meal prep, enjoy a good shower, and a comfortable sleep! :) wi-fi is available but must comment can be spotty at times since our flight came in late that night (about 8:40 pm), he left the lights on and key in our cabin Matt was really great! He called me to let me know when the office itself was closing. (**Purchase the entry for both parks on your first day, for us it was $50 and good for 7 days, keep receipt!) It is a longer drive to Yellowstone but we loved going through Grand Teton to get to Yellowstone. great location! it was only about 20 minutes into town to Albertson's Grocery Store (where we got all of our grocery items, bear spray, sunscreen, etc.) and 10 minutes to the entry of the Grand Teton National Park. housekeeping available if you would like for $35/day we did not participate in this. the shower was great -wonderful water pressure and great temperature control! included shampoo, conditioner, bath soap, hairdryer, lotion, and plenty of towels and washcloths. great control of temperature in each room Kitchenette = sink, microwave, two range electric stove top, tea-kettle, coffee pot (only coffee was included in our room), small refrigerator, plates/bowls/glasses/mugs, utensils, salt/pepper, and dish soap. small main room with a cute gas-fireplace and kitchenette great bathroom and one bedroom. this was a perfect size for us, a young couple $167 a night.- website photos of the wedge cabin are accurate! So if you are forced to come here, lower your expectations, and get out your wallet. Oh, did I mention there are ZERO Amenities beyond Wi-Fi and cable. This park is the most expensive place my wife and I have stayed during our cross country trip. It is 5 miles from downtown Jackson Hole. It’s close to Wilson WY and Teton Pass to Idaho. It is on the road to the back entrance to Teton N.P. Their hook is their location and they take full advantage. They use Jackson Hole Campground at times and other times Fireside Resort. There are NO amenities or extras including NO LAUNDRY, which I would expect given the daily fees. In all fairness, it is generally neat and trash free and the Magpies are entertaining. There are several seasonal sites that are dumpy. If an RV pulls in and parks to check in, it blocks the access to the campground and you either have wait or drive all around the wrong way through empty sites trying to get to your site. Gravel roads, gravel sites that have straggly, thin, un-mowed, untrimmed grass on each site. That is until you drive your RV around back to find an average campground that you would find along highways where travelers spend a night and move on with no frills. The trees that line the road have some lights and the entrance has a resort like look and feel. As we pulled into Fireside Resort, the road is bordered by modern cabins like tiny houses.
